Let's go for BNC version

  • Four BNC channels are placed on the main board, and four additional channels are placed on tiny mezzanine.
  • use low profile connectors like 73171-3150 or 5414373-1
  • Mezzanine must be secured firmly by 2 spacers and screws
  • Channel numbering must be as in other boards

  • Use standard low cost 2.54 goldpin connectors and headers; nothing fancy, just ordinary ones.
We will fit easily with 10 or 12mm stacking height

  • Make sure we have enough place for BNC plugs
  • Use DI/OT template, don't modify the template files! (EEM_Connectors.SchDoc, CPCIS_Connectors_P1_P6.SchDoc)
  • commit as SAMPLER-DIOT
  • include spacers, nuts and washers into the design so it appears in BOM
  • don't touch analog design, DC/DC layout, ground cutouts
  • BNC shell must be isolated from the panel! Make sure we will fit 3D-printed isolated washers from inside
