residual phase-noise graphs/datasheet? #4
Comments
Out of curiosity, did anyone ever get around to measuring this? |
Hi, I finally found dome time to measure the clockers residual phase and AM noise. As a reference I used a 100MHz Wenzel Quartz, that is phaselocked to a 10MHz Wenzel blue top. Blue trace: 100MHz versus the same 100MHz as a reference measurement. Pink trace: 100MHz vs Clockers 100 MHz Output (residual noise from clocker) PN: AM: Our measurement shows no AM zu PM conversion. and the MDEV: The Performance is en par with other high performance distribution amps. The higher noise below 10Hz is mostly due to temperature effects (Roberts suggestion that I agree with) Is there any interest to repeat the measurement with temperature logging or other frequencies? |
I would be interested in the residual phase-noise performance of the distribution amplifier at various frequencies.
In particular for 10 MHz distribution I and others have published a few comparison-graphs:

It would be interesting to see where the Clocker fits in these graphs.
thanks!
