Simple Scrobbler is a great app and has been extremely helpful in improving my experience with Last.FM, but there is one thing that I don't like about scrobbling:
Whenever my music is tagged with multiple artist names (for example: Freddie Gibbs, Madlib), Last.FM doesn't count the scrobble for the main artist (Freddie Gibbs) but instead scrobbles it under Freddie Gibbs, Madlib, which results in inaccurate data regarding how many times I scrobbled an artist. So in this case I have to remove all featured artists and keep the main artists, and that works perfectly.
But I would like to have the option within the Simple Scrobbler app that would allow us to make a new correction rule: remove featured artists. This could be done in multiple ways.
The app could remove everything after symbols like a comma (,) or an ampersand (&), a semicolon (;) or after the word feat. etc. It would be nice to give the user control over which symbol to use.
I hope you consider this option, and good luck on developing the app even more!!
