It is possible for a CMS member to select their own 'interface language' to determine the date/time format (perhaps among other things) presented in the CMS.
While a user can change this, SilverStripe appears to provide a default of English (United States).
Requested Change
Given that this module provides the underlying features intended for a customer base who use the English (United Kingdom) date/time format. It would make sense that this is provided by default with this module installed.
