Brief summary of issue

I enabled the following: Behaviour: "Hide window on first launch"

Log out, then log back in.

Right click on the panel icon, "Select Window", then choose a window to capture. Shutter does not do anything when the app is hidden on first launch.

I have to uncheck this option, then logging out/logging in. I repeat the above steps, and not it works.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Enable the following Behaviour: "Hide window on first launch"
  2. Log out/log in
  3. Right click on the panel icon, "Select Window", then choose a window to capture.

Shutter does not do anything when the app is hidden on first launch.

Error output

(how do I get that?)

Extra information, such as Shutter version, display server in use (Xorg or Wayland), operating system and ideas for how to solve:

Shutter 0.99.2, X, Xfce 4.18, GTK 3.24.33, TUXEDO OS
