shutter stopped working on my Ubuntu 22.04 #701

Are you sure that the output is complete? Shutter is very verbose and all the messages are just warnings, there is no crash in this log output. |
Hey @Photon89, Yeah, this is the entire output I got when running I don't know if I can enable even further logs ? |
Possibly it starts minimized but Ubuntu fails to display the tray icon? Are you using Gnome as your DE? |
After this log, does it return you to shell prompt, or stays as is? Can you check in a separate shell output of |

Brief summary of issue
After updating my packages yesterday, I figure out today that
shutter
doesn't start anymore when I click on the icon or when I try to start it over the command line.What I mean is when I start, nothing pops-up.
What I already did
I tried re-installing
shutter
(apt remove && apt install).From issue #659, I following link to this suggestions.
I then installed latest git version of
shutter
, still produces the same problem.Error output
