It would be nice to have a button to remove all local photos that are already backed up. Similar to what google photos has.

Right now when I want to free-up space I have to select backed-up photos and delete the local file, which is not very efficient.

Yea that has always been part of the plan but I want to make sure that backup and sync is as bug free as possible before i give users the ability to delete photos in bulk in case a bug causes people to lose all their memories 😄

Sounds reasonable 😆 good to know it's in the roadmap
