*What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Datasoul using Ubuntu 11.10 with 2 monitors
2. Press "Show Output"
*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Output should be fullscreen on second monitor. Instead, Unity bar is still
visible at top of screen.
*What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Datasoul 2.0-v1_all.deb Ubuntu 11.10 with default Unity and proprietary Nvidia
driver.
*Please provide any additional information below.
Other applications when launched fullscreen cover Unity bar when focused (e.g.
Totem, Firefox). Perhaps output display does not launch true fullscreen or is
not in focus, allowing Unity bar to be visible.
I was using the projector settings to offset the screen to push Unity bar
offscreen (rear projection). We recently added another projector (used, front
projection) that unfortunately has only 2 pixels of vertical adjustment.
I may consider using another DE for this computer, but media staff just got
used to Unity and I hate to change it on them again.
(I thought maybe I reported this once before adjusting first projector, but
cannot find it in search.)

I just did some testing and made the following observations:
I installed Compiz Config Settings Manager.
In the section marked "Workarounds", I checked "Legacy Fullscreen Support".
Now whenever the output screen has focus it covers the Unity bar. This is the
expected behavior.
However, whenever I click on another window, the Unity bar reappears -
including clicking anywhere in the Datasoul control window.
I did notice though, that if you have the output screen focused, you can use
the arrow keys to progress through the presentation without the Unity bar
reappearing. However, the shortcuts, such as [#]<enter>, do not respond. I
did not test the F-keys.
If I could find a way to offset the second monitor position within CCSM that
would fully solve my problem.
