Diagrams for "patterns"

To enhance the "students" understanding of the three different patterns, we should draw simple "diagrams" that distinguish the two.

I tried to come up with something... like for simple ensembles.

I ended up with this diagram trying to show what a PJ does... but still, not entirely sure how to make a diagram that basically is 4 CUs run on N cores, and that's about it? Perhaps you can sketch these out for me in 30 seconds or less, and I will make them pretty it lucidchart.
