Comment by heinrichmartin on 1 Mar 2013 10:03 UTC Please consider this a bug (with major severity) - it is a security issue! e.g. "[email protected] [email protected]" is displayed as "[email protected]"... I can confirm this issue also for version 0.8.3. The least fix required is not to allow the special character "@" in display names. |

My request sounds similar to http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1484796 but that only resulted in a "full headers" option.
What I would like is the option to also show the email address in the simple message view along with the "display name". This speeds up recognition of different individuals with the same name or people with multiple email addresses (i.e. work & private).
e.g. Currently mail from myself would only show:
From: Martin Barry
What I would like is a "Also display email address" option so the resulting view would be something like:
From: Martin Barry ([email protected])
This is a simpler, easier way of seeing this information without showing full headers or having to mouse over.
