in 0.7.2 if in the message body is written something like

<foobar ...>

when you hit reply, this text dissapear from the reply...

I can reproduce this. HTML editor must be enabled.

Looks like TinyMCE issue. I've opened a ticket http://www.tinymce.com/develop/bugtracker_view.php?id=5233
