Reported by drsbaitso on 27 Dec 2011 20:36 UTC as Trac ticket #1488280

When clicking on the addressbook, I'd like to have a setting to allow the default view. IE, I store everything on my CalDav server, and instead of opening the personal addresses first, I'd like it to open this addressbook.

You can already set where to save it by default, so you could theoretically cherry-pick the preferred addressbook from here.

I think you can just put your addressbook on top of the list using addressbooks_list hook, but maybe it's not bad idea to select default addressbook.

We already have a setting for "Add new contacts to the selected addressbook". Maybe this could be turned into "Default address book" serving both requirements?
