Reported by aberglund on 19 Aug 2010 18:35 UTC as Trac ticket #1486939

Would be great to have the ability to toggle between HTML and text views within the message-view window, similar to the new checkbox to Preview pane on the message list window. This would be extremely helpful in the case of a user who views as HTML but receives a badly composed HTML message. The ability to toggle directly to text view without going into the Settings would be a great time-saver.

Keywords: toggle html text message view

This is already implemented in git-master. For now, supported by classic skin only.

Now, when we have this toggle button implemented, there's a question: should we still display alternative HTML part on attachments list? I think we could get rid of it.

Agreed, I think it's redundant.

Done in bd69834. Larry support is also implemented.
