It is another topic for discussion, not a "issue".

I am looking for the possibility of migration LinkAttributes from a Mediawiki:Extension to a LUA template... I am not sure about a perfect translation, but I will study better... Only today I see that since 2012 (!) the ugly parse-functions was abandoned in favour to LUA-templates, and, from now, the templates have the power of loops, string-functions, etc.

Lua-templates requires a more complicated extension, Scribunto, but Wikipedia and many others now are using it. Therefore, "LinkAttributes as extension" remains as option for people that not have LUA-template properly installed.
