Describe the problem you would like to solve
DTIC - https://ror.org/01zqyhk59 has indicated current search box on ROR's site is too small, making it difficult for users to input longer search queries. This limits the user's ability to efficiently search for organizations, especially those with longer names or when using more specific search terms.

Describe the solution you'd like
DTIC would like the search box on ROR's site to be expanded in width. Ideally, the search box should span a larger portion of the page width, allowing users to see more of their query at once. This could be implemented as a responsive design that adjusts based on screen size, ensuring optimal usability across desktop and mobile devices.

Who would benefit from this feature?
This feature would benefit all users of the ROR site, but specifically:
