For reasons described in #231, we have native PulseAudio backend, providing PulseAudio sink working on top of libpulse.

However, we still use SoX backend for PulseAudio sources. Its main limitation is that it's not possible to configure I/O latency.

Steps:

  • extract PulseaudioDevice class
  • make PulseaudioSink working on top of PulseaudioDevice
  • add PulseaudioSource working on top of PulseaudioDevice
