This issue is still happening, because the main branch source wasn't updated.

I can confirm that with latest Xcode:

#define LZHAM_IS_POD(T) std::__is_pod::__value
#else
#define LZHAM_IS_POD(T) __is_pod(T)

can just be replaced with
#define LZHAM_IS_POD(T) __is_pod(T)

and compiles fine for Mac/iOS/iOS simulator
