Another fairly niche suggestion (but hey, I guess I’m the "niche propositions" guy!):
It would be great if there was an option to "flatten" a parent container that has subcontainers, displaying everything at the same level in the parent directory. This could be super helpful for templates that have a lot of nested containers, especially when exporting the sheet to a VTT.
In some cases, templates can get pretty complex with multiple layers of subcontainers—like traits within a subcontainer that’s nested inside another container, and so on. While this structure is helpful during the template creation phase, it can make things harder to manage or view in certain situations, particularly when trying to quickly scan while gaming or when looking for duplicates.
By having an option to flatten these containers, we could simplify the view by bringing all the subcontainer contents up to the parent level with a single click, instead of having to walk through containers manually to move traits and skills in the parent container. This would make it much easier to manage large or complex templates and streamline the process when exporting character sheets for use in VTTs, where too many layers can sometimes cause confusion or slow things down.
Thanks for considering this! I know it’s another niche request, but I think it could be a nice quality-of-life improvement for those of us working with larger templates.
