Installing into a new project via PM CMD the package is installed, but there are no prompts to change any files and the example directories are not made.

Late response, but want to respond for any future devs who find this.
NuGet removed the feature of creating new files when installing NuGet packages.
You can still copy those files manually from the NuGet directory.
You can also copy from the example here in source.

We probably need to create a project template or a multi-file Visual Studio template.
