Deploying the source documentation online allows for referencing from Confluence and therefore improves the overall technical documentation. GitHub Pages could be used to deploy a generated docs folder. Another approach avoiding misleading commits of documentation is the use of Git hooks to build documentation automatically. A static page host providing tools for building documentation independently might also be a good idea.
