You can build locally with them. They are there for CI purposes.

Hi all -- I am just curious whether there is a current Dockerfile lurking
around anywhere? Would there be much interest in this? I see such a
container on dockerhub under the stimela account (
https://hub.docker.com/layers/stimela/cubical/1.5.8/) but it seems to be
a little out of date.
Trolling through the repository I did find the docker files in the Jenkins
folder. Are these being pushed anywhere?

Ok, that is great to hear. I will go ahead and build my own then should I need to. I just wanted to be sure I was not reproducing effort unnecessarily. Would there be any plans to push the containers anywhere (e.g. dockerhub)? Thanks for the quick reply! Feel free to close the issue if you feel you need to :) |
Yep, there is a plan to make new CubiCal etc. images for stimela2... watch this space, or this one: https://github.com/caracal-pipeline/stimela |
I would be very interested in trying out the software when it is ready. I might have to try making my own container for it in the mean time. I am finding strange and wonderful core dumps from casa, and I hate them. |
Just a note: the images we have on quay.io for cubical are quite new and I
would just recommend using it via stimela v1 for now.
