Does operator support scaling cluster from single node to 3 nodes (or from 3 to 5)?
Steps to reproduce
Install operator, using Bitnami RabbitMQ Cluster Operator helm chart.
Create single node cluster, using CRD manifest.
apiVersion: rabbitmq.com/v1beta1
kind: RabbitmqCluster
metadata:
name: opsdev-rabbitmq
spec:
replicas: 1
k get --no-headers pod
rabbitmq-cluster-rabbitmq-rabbitmq-cluster-operator-659ffc7r55d 1/1 Running 0 3d12h
rabbitmq-server-0 3/3 Running 0 15m
RabbitMQ admin console shows one healthy node rabbitmq-server-0.
4. Increase replicas to 3 in CRD manifest.
spec:
replicas: 3
3. k get --no-headers pod
rabbitmq-cluster-rabbitmq-rabbitmq-cluster-operator-659ffc7r55d 1/1 Running 0 3d12h
rabbitmq-server-0 3/3 Running 0 9m2s
rabbitmq-server-1 3/3 Running 0 10m
rabbitmq-server-2 3/3 Running 0 14m
RabbitMQ web admin still shows one single node rabbitmq-server-0.
Operator created three single nodes (server-0, server-1, server-2) with the same erlang cookie. Also no errors and no attempts to join to cluster in logs.
