I would like to create animations of a few trajectories, that have larger time gaps.
Let's say I'm currently exporting 20K frames but only 10K frames have new features showing up
It would be awesome if we had the option not to export empty frames.
I'm guessing it would be a checkmark option in the layer settings, to take a specific layer into account when exporting
in the meantime i would be open to some suggestions on how to achieve this

I have a variation of this feature request: Don't save a new frame if it is identical to the last saved.
This might still require calculating and rendering the full frame as content can be time dependent (e.g. in expressions), even if no features have been added or removed.
