On our hub https://plugins.qgis.org/styles/, we refer to "Styles" but the resources listed are symbols. This is confusing since the term style is used differently in QGIS, i.e. for layer styles which can be saved as .qml. Symbols however .xml ending.

Thanks @anitagraser. Maybe we need to think about this. Currently we have Settings -> Style Manager where these are managed so maybe we should resolve the internal inconsistency in QGIS first?
@timlinux Excellent question. I would vote for consistency, even if it will take some effort to update all references from Style Manager to Symbol Manager.
