Description

The Operational environment that uses pysat has updated their requirements

Potential impact

  • How wide of an impact to you anticipate this enhancement having? Wide
  • Would this break any existing functionality? No, would probably fix it.

Potential solution(s)

  • Update python to 3.9
  • Update numpy to 1.23.5
  • Update operating system to something equivalent to: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8; SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4; RHEL 8

Alternatives

Add this as an additional test and keep the 3.6 tests running

Version-wise, I found the most comparisons between RHEL8 and ubuntu-20.04
