There are at least two issues preventing this package from building on a modern set-up.

This package does not build with Cabal 3.10 lpsmith/split-channel#2 — an issue with custom Setup.hs
This package does not build with GHC 9.4.8. base32-bytestring#6 — an issue with parsing of @

These are both trivial issues so hopefully they can be fixed soon. Versions will then need to be constrained to exclude obsolete versions.
