Do destreaking
Compute the average (after excluding top 2%?) for a column/row and check if it's extreme compared to its neighbors
If the column is weird, then throw out the brightest pixel
Repeat this process a few times. If the column doesn't start behaving mark it as problematic in the uncertainty
