As a prerequisite we have to decide on the internal super dataset structure. OpenNeuro went for a single joint dataset. I feel like this does not scale, or at least would only apply to one of the subdatasets.

This particular superdataset must also host all derivative data and external contributions.

Here is a draft list of what needs to be considered:

"raw"

derivatives

annotations (in some sense also derivatives)

Discussed in meeting on Apr. 22nd: From this superdataset, create (with datalad-copyfile) an assembled dataset that looks like the current dataset structure on OpenNeuro: https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds000113/versions/1.3.0

I'm not able to access the multi-res 3T repo (https://github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-data-multires3t). @mih, could you grant access?

@loj I have no idea why it is even private... I will add all of us, but we really should make this public -- need to figure out why it is not...

I have pinged @ayansengupta, asking if we can make this public

Current idea for the structure is essentially what is already listed above...

  • original (contains the converted "raw" datasets)
  • derivatives
  • annotations
