Generally:

  • put annotation datasets into src/ of studyforrest-data-annotations
  • segment all annotations regardless of stimulus to timings of AV & AO (e.g. movie cuts with timings of audio-description)

To Do

Body Contact

public: https://github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-paper-bodycontactannotation
contains unsegmented annotations per observer

Semantic Conflict / Irony

Hanke M and Ibe P. (2016) Lies, irony, and contradiction — an annotation of semantic conflict in the movie "Forrest Gump". F1000Research, 5:237. https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.9635.1
public: https://github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-paper-ironyannotation

Humor

secret stash: github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-data-annotations/tree/secret '
contains only start & end; nur further explanation/categorization; 3 observers for audio-description, 9 observers for movie

Faces (and others; e.g. eye movements?)

private: juseless /data/project/studyforrest/collection/comp_stim_features
public: public: https://github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-paper-faceannotation

Portrayed Emotions

Annika Labs, Theresa Reich, Helene Schulenburg, Manuel Boennen, Mareike Gehrke, Madleen Golz, Benita Hartigs, Nico Hoffmann, Sebastian Keil, Malu Perlow, Anne Katrin Peuckmann, Lea Noell Rabe, Franca-Rosa von Sobbe & Michael Hanke. Portrayed emotions in the movie "Forrest Gump". F1000Research 2015, 4:92. https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.6230.1.
public: https://github.com/psychoinformatics-de/studyforrest-paper-emotionannotation
needs to be segmented?

Done

annotations that are done in that sense that they are available in the studyforrest-data-annotations repo as segmented (and timing-corrected) TSV-files.

Low-Level Auditory & Visual Confounds

above is a list of annotations I am aware of. Please let me know if one annotation is missing.

The plan is to first take the the easy road:

Then:

  • scripts will a take an argument for an output path in order to later write the event files to the (BIDS) task folders of the corresponding fMRI data (and not just to the data-annotations repo itself).
