What device & browser are you using? Sees like whatever you’re using doesn’t support the CSS property aspect-ratio, that’s why the album cover isn’t square.

A CMF Phone (1). And normal pre installed chrome.

Cover image bug has been fixed in 1d54750. Thanks for reporting this.
