Publisher Dashboard for Bootcamp Owners

Overview:

We are proposing a Publisher Dashboard designed for bootcamp publishers (owners) to manage the bootcamps they create and offer on DevCamper. This dashboard will provide a streamlined way for publishers to create, update, and delete bootcamps, as well as track performance metrics such as enrollments, reviews, and ratings.

Proposed Features for the Publisher Dashboard:

1. Bootcamp Management:

   • View a list of all bootcamps published by the user.
   • Add new bootcamps with full details (title, description, location, pricing, etc.).
   • Edit or delete existing bootcamps.
   • Upload or manage bootcamp images (e.g., logos, banners).
   • Manage course offerings under each bootcamp (add/edit/delete courses).

2. Performance Metrics:

   • View analytics for each bootcamp (e.g., number of enrollments, average rating, number of reviews).
   • See detailed bootcamp statistics, such as page views and inquiries.
   • Track bootcamp popularity over time (graphs or charts showing trends).

3. Review Management:

   • View reviews submitted by users for their bootcamps.
   • Respond to user reviews or flag inappropriate reviews.
   • Option to filter reviews based on ratings (e.g., 5-star, 4-star, etc.).

4. Enrollment Management:

   • View users who have enrolled in their bootcamp(s).
   • Export enrollment lists for record-keeping or communication purposes.
   • Track enrollment trends over time.

5. Notifications:

   • Receive notifications about new enrollments, reviews, or inquiries.
   • Manage notification preferences for different events (e.g., email alerts for new reviews or enrollments).

6. Bootcamp Visibility Settings:

   • Control the visibility of bootcamps (e.g., make bootcamp active/inactive).
   • Schedule bootcamp visibility (e.g., open enrollment on a specific date).

Benefits:

• Centralized Bootcamp Management: Publishers can easily manage their bootcamps from a single dashboard, reducing the complexity of updating and tracking multiple bootcamps.
• Performance Insights: Publishers will have access to real-time data on bootcamp performance, helping them make informed decisions to improve visibility and enrollment.

4. Release the dashboard to publishers and collect feedback for further improvements.

Should publishers have the ability to respond to or manage user reviews directly from the dashboard? => no, I think reviews should be only read only

What type of notifications would be useful for bootcamp owners? => for web app we can use notification like GitHub have, for app we can implement app notification like LinkedIn.
