According to the WP stats, 5.0 adoption is at 50%, with the majority sticking with 4.9.

For the comment subscribe form to work with multiple comment forms and/or plugins, we need to be able to hook those and replace as necessary.

I'll whip together a PR, but I highly recommend the next version support 5.0+ only.

Just kidding. I was able to do this by modifying the ID to a class.
