  • This issue CANNOT be reproduced with the same version of upstream NewPipe

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open a video
  2. Pause
  3. See it preload and fill up the indicator (brighter tone of red)
  4. Press play
  5. See preload bar disappearing

Actual behavior

The preload indicator disappears while the video is playing

Expected behavior

It should remain on screen.

Not on my machine. Make sure you've actually got something buffered. The bug is that it only shows up for a split second, not that it doesn't show up at all (which could be a symptom of it simply not having buffered enough yet).

If it's reproducible with upstream Newpipe then you should open a issue in the upstream Newpipe and close this issue to avoid extra work for maintainers.
