Hello,

While using the latest version of the app (2.5.1 - unmodified), I have come across some issues, specifically with my Samsung Galaxy A15 device (I've used my older A40 as well and seems to work better, but not perfectly either.

On the A15, using "Rotation" mode with video source "CameraUVC", I'm getting some artifacts on the feed, depicted in the screenshot below. The A40 seems to work just fine. The external camera I'm using is "Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2".
When I say "artifacts" I mean the gray horizontal lines and the fact that the image looks to be splitted between 3 sections in a row.

I have seen similar artifacts in other external camera feed capturing apps as well (in some cases more severe), but there are other apps that display a clean view on this device.

Also I've tried with Eachine White Snake FPV Camera, but it doesn't work at all.
BTW I'm using an OTG cable adapter (usb-c to usb-a).

Samsung Galaxy A15:

  • Android version: 14
  • One UI version: 6.1

Samsung Galaxy A40:

  • Android version: 11
  • One UI version: 3.1

Hello,

I just do a fix related with UVC camera:
e532146
Try update master branch and let me know if the problem persist. Also, change resolution in the rotation example to a resolution that you know that is supported by your camera.

If you still have problems, try to open the camera using this project (this is the dependency used to add UVC camera support):

No changes with e532146... Will try the UVCAndroid repo, thanks
