When BYG is loaded alongside Better Nether, its Warped Desert and Subzero Hypogeal biomes bug out in that the former's nylium soul sand/soil and the latter's subzero ash and frost magma generate in contradiction to the shape of the surrounding terrain. Chunks of ground overhanging cliff drops awkwardly or thin walls of these blocks blocking off the rest of a cave are common in both of these biomes. These effects are most often seen in the small to medium caves, rather than the wide open areas. This doesn't seem to happen with only BYG loaded.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Create a new world with only this mod, BYG and the Fabric API loaded, with seed 1194742309078654557.
  • Run the following command:
    execute in minecraft:the_nether run tp -236 94 -244
This will take you to a warped desert.
  • Explore the desert, and you will find these land formations and possibly more:
    Abruptly overhanging nylium soul sand/soil at -258, 82, -248
    2021-02-25_14 27 27
Wall of nylium soul soil cutting off a cave at -229 49 -248
    2021-02-25_14 31 24
A cave that continues on both sides of a chunk of nylium soul soil at -251 73 -216 (Spectator mode)
    2021-02-25_14 30 57
In the nearest subzero hypogeal, walls of frost magma cutting off caves at -35 64 87

This is a result of missing ground tags for some BYG biomes, I will change tag system in 1.17 version as a part of refactoring
