Is it possible to build custom SITL?

Hello,
Is it possible to build custom SITL without adding in PX4-Autopilot package from vehicle_gateway package?

More details:

I have created custom SITL and added it to PX4-Autopilot. But If I want refer my model to my team mates then I have to give them whole PX4-Autopilot pkg or they have to add all custom file manually ot make it run.

So the Idea is that I create my own package and add my custom SITL model into that andd from launch file I can run my model with PX4.

Is this possible with this package?
