insecure connections not allowed for mysql

So, I am getting an error:
Caused by: java.sql.SQLTransientConnectionException: (conn=26399) Connections using insecure transport are prohibited while --require_secure_transport=ON.

I am not sure how to deal with that. Any ideas?

Added useSSL=true to the JDBC options appeared to work

Indeed, you can add the specific extra parameters you need to your JDBC driver with source.connect.parameter https://osalvador.github.io/ReplicaDB/docs/docs.html#32-connecting-to-a-database-server
