[Feature Request] ldap-plugin: Accept User principal name (UPN) format

It looks that currently the authentication via the ldap-plugin works only via the DC User logon name (pre-Windows 2000). Is there a possibility to add support for use "Userlogon" name because Microsoft m365 is only working with UPN-formatted logon names?

As Addition:
M365 requires that the user login with her Mailadress. It is not possible to explain the users that they have to login everywhere with there mailadress - execepted osticket. That will never works :-)
