Hey guys. I played around with netboot xyz the last couple days and i was really enjoying it. But i have some questions.
I tested it with the linuxserver io docker image and it worked pretty well. I consider using Netboot in production at my work but there are some obstacles to get there. First i cannot use docker because we dont have a infrastructure for it (sounds silly but it is what it is). I tested the ansible script in the self hosting section in the docs, but it seems to be different to the docker image. It does not seem to have a management website (usally port 3000), which i really liked to edit the configs and pull the images which is mandatory in my case. I know you can edit the ansible scripts but it's not as convenient ;). It seems its not running nginx.
My questions are now:
Is there a way have the management site with the ansible method?
Have you experience to encrypt the management site and the site inital loader for netboot.xyz with ca certificates?
If the first things work do you have a workaround to secure the management site with credentials?
Sorry if i missed some information about this but i did not find anything.
If you ask yourself why I dont just use the netboot.iso, I am considering this but if possible i want to use the ansible method, because it can run on a proxmox lxc. Its not mandatory but would be very cool.
