Today, we are excited to initiate a discussion about a crucial aspect of cQube's development - Simplifying the UI Architecture of cQube. Our goal is to create a user-friendly interface that reduces the need to access configuration files for frontend changes while providing flexibility in integrating a wide variety of charts for the same datasets.

The Current Challenge

As cQube evolves, we understand that managing the user interface and integrating diverse chart types efficiently can be a complex task. Users often find it challenging to make UI customizations without delving into configuration files. Additionally, achieving flexibility in data visualization can be time-consuming.

The Proposed Solution

Our proposal is to streamline the UI architecture to make it more intuitive and empower users to:

• User-Friendly UI Customization: We aim to create a UI that allows users to customize the appearance and layout without needing to access configuration files directly. This will provide an accessible and efficient way to tailor the UI according to specific needs.
• Chart Integration Flexibility: We intend to enhance cQube's capability to integrate various chart types seamlessly. Whether you prefer bar charts, line graphs, scatter plots, or custom visualizations, the system should accommodate these preferences effortlessly.
• Tools and Plugins: To expedite this process and maximize our efforts, we are exploring the use of third-party tools and plugins. One such tool is Superset, which offers robust capabilities for data exploration, visualization, and dashboard creation.
