We're thrilled to initiate a new discussion focused on a valuable addition to our platform - developing a PDF report generator that will empower users to create templated reports for important review meetings with state administrators.

The Current Need

cQube is a robust educational data management system designed to provide valuable insights into educational processes. As part of this, there's often a critical requirement to present these insights to key stakeholders, including state administrators, in a clear and compelling manner. PDF reports remain a widely accepted medium for such presentations.

Currently, generating PDF reports from cQube data often requires manual efforts. We believe that integrating a dedicated PDF report generator directly within cQube can significantly streamline this

The Proposal

Our proposal is to create a user-friendly interface within cQube that enables users to:

• Select Data for Reporting: Users can select the specific datasets and metrics they want to include in the report.
• Choose Report Templates: A library of report templates will be available, allowing users to pick a suitable format for their presentation.
• Customize Templates: Users can customize templates with their organization's branding, add commentary, and tailor the layout.
• Generate PDFs: With a simple click, users can generate PDF reports ready for presentation.
• Schedule and Automate: For recurring reports, users can schedule generation and distribution, ensuring timely delivery.
