Duplicate data is getting added when a field of type 'object' is updated

We have a few fields in our schema of type 'object', when we update those fields, a duplicate field with partial name and same data is getting created.

Ex: Before update:

       "account_no": "123456",
       "ifsc_code": "BANK0001"

After update:

       "account_no": "789798",
       "ifsc_code": "BANK0002"
  },
  "payment": {
       "account_no": "789798",
