Library Authoring MFE: Previews don't update until page is refreshed #19

Reproduction:

enable blockstore (filesystem) and library authoring mfe plugins
launch tutor in local mode
make a V2 library
add a problem or text
preview should render
edit it and save
expected: preview immediately updates
actual: preview remains unchanged until page is refreshed

Thoughts:

This bug doesn't exist on library-authoring.stage.edx.org, making me think it has to do with how the plugin is configuring the MFE, not the MFE itself. That's why I'm opening the issue here and not the MFE
I wonder there is some issue in the message-passing between the iframed component preview sandbox and the MFE/CMS.

These pages have been replaced with improvement pages in frontend-app-authoring.
