Not a real issue, instead a question, is this open source software application for usage in custom OLT device? for example if i build a PC server device with 4 or 8 PON PCI-GBIC SFP cards? can i use this Software to control it as a standard hardware OLT? or this is just specific software for a specific hardware OLT device?

@AlbertEinsteinGlitchPoint I don't quite understand the question you are asking, mostly in relation to the "this open source software" reference. If you are referring to VOLTHA then VOLTHA is meant to support multiple vendor OLTs and present that northbound as an abstraction (OF device). So from that perspective, yes, if an adapter was written for a custom OLT device then VOLTHA, CORD, SEBA, etc should then work with that device.

Hi thanks for your reply, my initial question was, can I emulate a Optical Line Terminal OLT specific vendor hardware, in a real PC-Server with 4 fiber port nic card, and 4 GBIC EPON or GPON ply models in order to run voltha inside , withou the use of specific vendor manufacturer hardware?
