I know Barkeep is meant to be minimal, but it would be nice to be able to use it as a sourcecode browser where line ranges would be addressable -- very useful for review messages like "You should copy the pattern at foo.py#L33-55

Consider using http://gitlist.org/ as a complementary self hosted service. It is a git repository viewer with an intentionally minimal design and feature set.
