Notes upon completion #624
-
I've been use obsidian-tasks for a month or so, and wondering if there is any way to annotate completion. If there is, I can't figure it out. For example, when I complete a task, there are times I would like to just put a quick not on the completion. For example: "Called and requested a quote." or something like that. So when I look at what I did during a certain time period, I can see the results. I know I could put a link to another Obsidian note, and track it there, which sometimes makes sense for larger tasks. However, for a simple task, just a quick sentence on how it was closed/resolved would be helpful. Is this currently possible? Is there a best practice for this kind of thing? Thanks. |

There is not a built-in way to do this in Tasks. Depending on context, I tend to do one of these: kinds of things - [x] Do the thing (what I did) ✅ 2022-04-24
- [x] Do the thing > what I did first > then next > then finally ✅ 2022-04-24
- [x] Do the thing ✅ 2022-04-24
- What I did The last one is less cluttered, perhaps, but does not show up in Tasks searches. |
