We'll need to go through the exercise of releasing relatively soon, and should attempt to see what parts make sense to automate (potentially through CI).

  • Tagging of commit
  • Marking release on github
  • publishing to npm
  • publishing to yarn
  • deployment of built version to CDN / stable web server.

We have now

  • trialed an alpha release on GitHub,
  • setup team ownership for https://www.npmjs.com/package/web3c
  • setup CI to maintain a 'latest' CDN staging
  • pretty URL for hosted built library
  • versioning / release versions of hosted built library

Remaining tasks are:

  • automation
