I imagine it like this:

a 3x3 square grid shows 9 different areas of a selected map GeoTIFF
sliders for the different parameters the script takes
a 3x3 grid with resulting output
a checkbox for "show polygons"

as you move the sliders you see a preview of the brightness/contrast/threshold output or, if selected, the resulting polygons for those areas
