An oversight Capstone made with Witchaven's hardest difficulty level was that the game's unwinnable on the final map, since Illwhyrin (being put in the RESURECT state) does not drop the pentagram needed to finish.
I picked this up while playing using NuBuildGDX, and I give props to the programmers for not making it possible to farm weapons on kills here… though being able to farm EXP from the corpses is besides the point. Dropping a non-weapon like this is not, however, as killing Illwhyrin is the main goal of the game.
