Not really an issue, but a proposal:

I would say that, to make this script work for both commandline Ansible and Tower, we need to have a three tier configuration system:

command line options (always override anything else)
variables in the script (to be able to override the configuration file from Tower)
a configuration file that is either in /etc/ansible/ansible-satellite6.ini or specified on the commandline
